Optimus H-1410 Portable Digital Oscillating Fan Heater with Thermostat and Touch-Screen Control

R2D2 heater is not what I hoped for.
This heater which I use at the office has been nick-named R2D2 by my office mates (guess why). It is a lot bigger than I thought it would be standing almost 2 feet high. Temperature settings are only in centigrade and the thing turns off before reaching the desired temperature and has to be reset to get it going again. The resetting is an inconvenient process. The timer can only be set for 1 hour intervals. I don't like the damn thing. I might give it away and by another type of more user friendly heater.

The special features don't work
This is an relatively expensive fan and it does have the necessary safety features to be allowed by fire code in our office - that is a good thing. But the heater will turn off at a certain point and never turn on again. The oscillation features makes it heat up and smell like it is malfunctioning. Also, the fact that the temperature is only in Celsius just makes it confusing and harder to use than it should be. I wish there was a way to convert this.

great heater!!!!!
i love this heater!!! it definately does its job for how small it is.and i love the touch screen and the automatic shut off if it tips over.

Optimus H-2200 Portable Fan-Forced Radiant Heater with Thermostat

ONE HOUR WONDER
I bought this heater thinking that it would be a good addition to another basement heater i had--when first turned on it glowed a warm rosy red--and put out good heat, but when i felt chilly an hour later, i noticed the heating elements were not glowing--one of the four elements had broken, and obviously this causes all to stop working, or it is all one long piece of wire, hard to tell--i'm giving the heater the benefit of the doubt by saying it lasted an entire hour, im sure it didn't---a waste of time--a waste of good money

Optimus H-1380 Portable 3-Speed Oscillating Fan Heater with Thermostat

not enough output
I was excited about this fan because of the oscillating factor and the 3 speeds. Most only have two speeds. I like "instant" heat. If I'm cold, I want to get warm fast. Sitting directly in front of this fan I didn't feel that I was getting warm. It produces heat, just not where I wanted it. I felt like the warm air came out like a cone, only on the outside of the cone, not the center. If I stood two feet away from it, I couldn't feel the air/heat on me. It's just not what I wanted.

Portable Heater
This is a great little heater. When I first received it, I thought that it probably wouldn't do a real good job, but we have a rather large bedroom, and it heats it up wonderfully.

Great quality very sturdy.......
Very nice portable heater good price it's durable and does it's job great for a dorm room or a super large master bathroom like ours. Happy with purchase!~

Optimus H-3010 Portable Utility Heater

Excellent heater
Owning an old farmhouse in Maine often times equates to frozen pipes in the winter or ice jams on our enclosed porch- this heater offers tip over shut off, adjustable temp and other safety options which make it ideal to pop under a cupboard or put in an enclosed space to warm frozen pipes. It's not the prettiest most modern looking heater but having children and pets we needed a practical and safe heater should we want to have it running in higher traffic areas. This purchase is replacing a very very old heater of similar style which had worked well for us until it died of old age. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Mighty Heater!
This electric heater is just what I wanted. Runs smooth....quiet..and warms a considerable amount of space.

heater review
Excellent heater. Minimal noise. Zero vibration. Running for months with no problems.
Puts out more heat than many others in the same class. Great purchase ;)

Good/tough heater for small spaces. Used it to heat up an outdoor cabinet in freezing temperatures. It often ran continuously for days.

I ordered this specific space heater because the model shown is blue. White is not blue and yet white is what arrived. It's getting returned.
